I will begin my Ph.D program at Northwestern University this fall, where my primary fields will be American History, to 1900 & 1900 to Present; Modern European History (emphasis on British); African Diaspora Studies. My minor fields are Women’s Studies & Public Humanities.

California State University, San Bernardino

I graduated from CSUSB as a double major in American Studies and History (Public & Oral History track), cum laude, with departmental honours. I was also awarded the California Pre-Doctoral Fellowship (Sally Casanova Scholars) for the 2016-17 academic year, where my advisors were Dr. Cherstin Lyon and Dr. Francesca Beer.

Pasadena City College

I earned a certificate in Digitization Skills for Libraries and Cultural Heritage Institutions in 2015. This certificate developed skills in digital humanities, focuses on records management, preservation, and end-user experience with archives.

Sacramento City College

I graduated with an Associates of Science in Anthropology, where I obtained experience with linguistics, archaeological methods, physical anthropology and genetics, and cultural anthropology methods, as well as a specialization in Ethnic American Studies.
